The Stratocaster needs no introduction—since 1954 it’s been the yardstick every other electric guitar gets measured against. Fender’s American Professional series doesn’t reinvent that formula; it refines it, keeping the DNA that made the Strat a fixture of blues, rock, and everything since, while updating the details players actually notice under their fingers.
At the heart of this build are Tim Shaw’s V-Mod single-coils, each one voiced independently for its position using a mix of alnico magnet types. The result is a pickup set with real personality across the neck, middle, and bridge rather than three interchangeable coils—vintage warmth up front, crisp bite in back. A treble-bleed circuit on the volume control keeps that top-end sparkle intact even as you roll off gain, so your tone doesn’t go dull when you back off.
The maple neck wears a new Deep C profile—thicker through the shoulders than a standard Modern C, closer to a C/U hybrid—paired with narrow-tall frets that make string bends land cleanly and chords ring true up and down the 9.5″ radius fingerboard. A bone nut helps sustain and tuning stability, while the 2-point synchronized tremolo now features a pop-in arm that locks into place and holds its tension setting under aggressive playing.
This Olympic White example ships with Fender’s Elite Molded hardshell case, shaped to the guitar’s body for a snug fit, with TSA-approved latches and a stackable shell for easy storage.
