Alnico-loaded V-Mod pickups, engineered by longtime Fender pickup designer Tim Shaw, are voiced individually for bridge, middle, and neck so each position pulls its own weight tonally, from glassy cleans to snarling breakup.
The neck carries Fender’s Deep C profile—thicker through the shoulders than a typical Modern C, sitting somewhere between C and U territory—which gives your fretting hand more to hold onto during long sessions. Narrow-tall frets across the 22-fret maple neck and rosewood board make string bends land accurately and chords ring true, even in the upper registers. A bone nut and the 9.5-inch fretboard radius round out a neck built for speed without sacrificing feel.
Plugged in, a treble-bleed circuit keeps your tone from going dull as you roll back the volume knob—no more losing sparkle when you back off for rhythm parts. The 2-point synchronized tremolo comes with a pop-in arm that locks into place and won’t loosen up mid-set, with adjustable tension to match your playing style.
