Description
Built in Corona, California, the American Performer Telecaster takes the timeless Tele formula and updates it with details that make everyday playing easier and the tone a bit more versatile. It’s a guitar meant to be played hard, not admired from a case.
- Alder body finished in Vintage White gloss
- Maple neck in a Modern “C” profile with satin urethane feel, paired with a maple fingerboard, 9.5″ radius, and 22 jumbo frets for comfortable bending and fast runs
- Yosemite single-coil pickups (bridge and neck) deliver classic Tele twang with extra clarity and output
- Greasebucket tone circuit rolls off highs without adding bass mud, so your tone stays tight as you dial it back
- 3-position toggle switching: bridge alone, bridge and middle together, or middle alone
- 3-saddle strings-through-body bridge for that vintage-correct sustain and twang
- Fender ClassicGear tuning machines and a synthetic bone nut (1.650″ width) keep tuning stable and consistent
- Silver ’70s-style Fender logo and black dot inlays round out the classic look
Under the hood you get a 4-bolt neck plate, standard truss rod with 1/8″ American Series nut, knurled flat-top control knobs, and a barrel-style switch tip — all the small touches that add up to a guitar that feels finished, not stripped down. Strung from the factory with Fender USA NPS strings (.009-.042).
Comes with a deluxe gig bag for grab-and-go convenience.
