Description
The American Performer Stratocaster HSS takes the familiar Corona-made Strat formula and pushes it further with a bridge humbucker built for extra output and bite. Two Yosemite single-coils handle the neck and middle positions for that airy, chiming Strat sound, while the DoubleTap humbucker steps in at the bridge for thicker, more aggressive tones when you need them—split it via the push/pull tone pot to get single-coil clarity out of the same pickup.
The alder body wears a Satin Polyurethane finish in Surf Green, paired with a 3-ply Mint Green pickguard and aged white knobs and switch tip for a subtle vintage-modern look. The maple neck has a Modern “C” profile with a 9.5″ radius and 22 jumbo frets, making bends and fast runs feel effortless, and the synthetic bone nut sits at a comfortable 1.685″ width. ClassicGear tuning machines keep tuning stable, and the 6-saddle vintage-style synchronized tremolo delivers smooth, expressive whammy bar action.
