Fender’s American Original ’60s Stratocaster brings that exact spec sheet back to life, olympic white gloss nitro over an alder body, with a level of period accuracy that goes well beyond looks.
The Pure Vintage ’65 single-coil pickups are wax-potted and built the old way: enamel-coated coil wire, cloth push-back leads, fiber bobbins, and alnico 5 magnets, wired through the classic 5-position blade switch for the full range of Strat tones. The thick ’60s C neck profile pairs with a 9.5″ radius rosewood fingerboard and vintage-tall frets for a neck that feels substantial but still moves fast. A bone nut, vintage-style truss rod, and pearloid dot inlays round out the playing feel.
Hardware stays true to the era too — a six-point synchronized tremolo with vintage 6-saddle bridge, single-line Fender Deluxe tuning machines, and nickel/chrome plating throughout.
