A basswood body with a comfort-cut forearm contour keeps long sets easy on your arm, while the bolt-on baked maple neck uses graphite reinforcement rods to stay stable no matter what the weather throws at it. A spoke wheel truss rod adjuster sits right at the neck heel for fast tweaks between songs. The back of the neck gets an oiled finish for a fast, natural feel, and the baked maple fingerboard uses a 12″-16″ compound radius with rolled edges, 22 jumbo frets, and black dot inlaysu2014built for shredding without a fight.
Under the hood, dual EVH Wolfgang humbuckers are mounted straight to the body for direct vibration transfer, translating into serious sustain. The black knurled control knobs run through 500k pots tuned to Van Halen’s own specs, giving you a smooth sweep between warmth and biting top end. Locking down the tuning is an EVH-branded Floyd Rose Special bridge paired with an R2 locking nut, so aggressive dive bombs and pitch squeals won’t knock it out of tune.
