Description
Instantly recognizable, the EVH Stripe Series guitar wears Eddie Van Halen’s legendary white-with-black-stripes graphic over a basswood Stratocaster-style body finished in gloss. It’s a no-frills, single-pickup design built for players who want maximum rock tone with minimal fuss.
The graphite-reinforced quartersawn maple neck has a hand-rubbed oil finish for a fast, natural feel, plus a thumbwheel truss rod adjustment for quick tweaks without tools. On top sits a compound-radius maple fingerboard (12″-16″) with 22 jumbo frets and black dot inlays, comfortable whether you’re chording low or bending high.
Powering the sound is a single direct-mount Wolfgang humbucking pickup, controlled by one white “Tone”-labeled volume knob for a simplified, grab-and-go setup. This white model also features a single-ply black pickguard.
For serious whammy work, EVH outfitted this guitar with an EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo complete with the EVH D-Tuna for on-the-fly drop-D moves, backed by a Floyd Rose locking nut and bar string retainer for rock-solid tuning stability. EVH die-cast tuners, chrome hardware, vintage-style strap buttons, and an EVH-branded neck plate round out the build.
