Description
The LTD M-200 is built for players who want speed without paying a premium for it. Its flat-slab mahogany body follows the classic M Series shape, paired with a bolt-on maple neck carved into an Extra Thin U contour that lets your hand fly across the fretboard. The roasted jatoba fingerboard, cut with a 350mm radius and loaded with 24 extra-jumbo frets, gives you smooth bends and effortless access to the upper register.
Dive-bombs and pitch tricks are handled by the LTD by Floyd Rose tremolo, locked in tune by a 43mm locking nut and LTD tuners. Tone comes from a pair of ESP Designed pickups – the LH-150N in the neck and LH-150B in the bridge – wired passively through a straightforward volume/tone/3-way switch layout. Whether you’re chugging low-end riffs or picking out lead lines, the pickup set delivers plenty of punch without muddying the clarity.
This particular guitar wears the Alien Gray finish and comes strung with D’Addario XL120 strings (.009-.042).
