The LTD KH-602 brings the core DNA of Kirk Hammett’s higher-end ESP KH-2 down to a price point more guitarists can actually reach, without cutting corners on the details that matter to a working metal player. This Purple Sparkle version mirrors Kirk’s own custom ESP, giving it a look as distinctive as its playability.
At the core is a neck-thru-body design joining a resonant alder body to a three-piece maple neck carved in an extra-thin U profile, fast and low-effort under the hand. The pau ferro board is loaded with 24 extra-jumbo frets and finished off with Kirk’s signature skull-and-bones inlays, giving you a full range for lead work and a fretboard that’s unmistakably his.
Tuning stability and dive-bomb reliability come from the Floyd Rose 1000 bridge paired with a locking nut, while the EMG Kirk Hammett Bone Breaker pickups in both neck and bridge positions deliver the active, high-output growl this signature line is known for. Controls stay simple with a Vol/Vol/Tone/3-way switch layout so you can dial in tones fast between takes or songs.
