Under the hood you get a mahogany body paired with a 3-piece mahogany neck in a set-thru design, delivering sustain and low-end punch that suits heavy riffing and lead work alike. A 24-fret pau ferro fingerboard with a 350mm radius and Thin U neck contour keeps fast runs comfortable, while the 42mm nut width gives your fretting hand plenty of room without feeling bulky.
Active EMG 81/60 pickups handle the tonal duties here – the 81 in the bridge for that aggressive, compressed high-gain attack, and the 60 in the neck for smoother leads and cleaner passages. A simple Vol/Vol/Tone/Toggle layout keeps things intuitive when you’re switching sounds mid-song.
Hardware is where the EC-1000 shows its Deluxe-series pedigree: a Tonepros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece keeps tuning rock-solid under aggressive playing, LTD locking tuners add another layer of stability, and gold hardware ties it all together against the Black finish. Abalone inlays and purfling, plus full body/neck/headstock binding, give it a look that punches well above its price point.
