Description
The Pro-Mod DK24 HSS 2PT CM takes Charvel’s Dinky platform and dials it in for players who bounce between rhythm crunch and lead work without missing a beat. The alder body wears a satin Shell Pink finish that looks vintage-cool without any added weight or fuss.
Under your hand is a two-piece bolt-on caramelized maple neck, graphite-reinforced for stability and shaped with Charvel’s Speed Neck profile. The sculpted heel gets you into the upper register cleanly, while a heel-mounted truss rod wheel means adjustments don’t require a screwdriver hunt. The caramelized maple fingerboard carries a 12″-16″ compound radius, rolled edges for comfortable fretting hand movement, 24 jumbo frets, pearloid dots, and a Graph Tech nut – all built around a 25.5″ scale.
Tone comes from a well-considered HSS trio: a Custom Seymour Duncan Full Shred SH-10B in the bridge for saturated lead tone, flanked by Seymour Duncan Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 single-coils in the middle and neck (the neck unit RWRP for hum-cancelling in position two and four). A 5-way blade switch, Strat-style speed knobs with a 500K EVH Bourns low-friction pot, and a no-load tone control give you a full spread of usable sounds.
Hardware is equally purposeful – a recessed Gotoh Custom 510 tremolo for smooth pitch dives and return-to-pitch reliability, Charvel locking tuners, and chrome hardware throughout. Luminlay side dots help you find your place on a dark stage.
