Squier’s Standard Telecaster takes the blueprint of a late-1960s Tele and puts it within easy reach, wrapped in a warm Vintage Blonde finish that shows off the timeless slab body shape. It’s a guitar that rewards players who want genuine Tele character without fuss – plug in and the personality is already there.
The maple neck wears a “C” profile that feels quick under the hand, paired with a laurel fingerboard, 9.5″ radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets for comfortable bending and lead work across the fretboard. Dot inlays keep things classic and easy to read at a glance, while the 25.5″ scale and 1.650″ nut width deliver the familiar Fender feel.
Tonally, the bridge single-coil brings the bite and snap that defines the Telecaster sound, ideal for cutting through a band mix or digging into twangy rhythm work. The alnico-magnet, chrome-covered neck pickup rounds things out with a smoother, rounder voice for cleaner leads or jazzier textures. A 3-position blade switch lets you move between bridge, both pickups combined, or neck alone, all controlled by simple master volume and tone knobs.
Chrome hardware throughout – including a standard 6-saddle strings-through-body bridge, die-cast tuners, and chrome dome control knobs – keeps tuning stable and sustain solid. Small details like the engraved neck plate, black plastic parts, and gold-and-black Squier logo add a nice vintage touch. It ships strung with Fender USA Super 250L strings (.009-.042).
