Description
The V-1 Platinum takes Schecter’s set-neck platform and dresses it up for players who want stage presence without sacrificing playability. Under the Satin Silver finish sits a mahogany body with an arched top and black multi-ply binding, paired with the brand’s Ultra Access neck joint for unrestricted reach into the upper frets.
- 3-piece maple neck with a Thin ‘C’ profile, measuring .787″ at the 1st fret and .866″ at the 12th
- Ebony fretboard, 14″ radius, 24 X-Jumbo frets, and eye-catching Platinum ‘Tempest’ inlays
- 25.5″ scale length with a 1.653″ Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut
- 2-way adjustable truss rod accessible via a 5/32″ Allen nut
Tone comes courtesy of an EMG 57 in the bridge and EMG 66 in the neck, both active pickups wired to a Volume/Volume/Tone layout with a 3-way switch and a clip-in 9-volt battery compartment. A TonePros T3BT Tune-o-matic with string-thru-body construction anchors sustain, while Schecter’s locking tuners keep things stable during aggressive playing. Black hardware and metal knurled knobs with set screws round out the look, and the guitar ships strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky #2221 strings (.010-.046).
Built for right-handed players chasing a modern metal or rock voice, the V-1 Platinum blends classic set-neck feel with contemporary EMG output and a striking, understated finish.
