Description
Built in collaboration with Avenged Sevenfold’s Synyster Gates, this Custom-6 TR-S Headless model strips away the headstock for better balance and tuning stability while keeping every ounce of the signature model’s character. The chambered mahogany body with a maple center reduces weight without sacrificing resonance, finished in a satin black that stays low-key on stage.
The maple neck is reinforced with carbon fiber rods and carved into an Ultra Thin “C” profile, running 19mm at the first fret to 20mm at the twelfth for fast, comfortable playability. It’s topped with an ebony fretboard, 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets, and a 16″ radius, plus the signature silver “Syn S” inlay at the 12th fret and Luminlay side dots for visibility in dark venues. A Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (42mm wide) and 2-way truss rod with heel-mounted spoke wheel round out the neck build.
Anchoring the whole instrument is a Hipshot 6-string headless tremolo bridge with built-in tuning function, letting you dial in pitch right at the bridge saddles. Electronics pair a Schecter USA Synyster Gates signature humbucker in the bridge with a Sustainiac unit in the neck position, controlled via master volume, a 3-way pickup selector, and two Sustainiac mini-switches for triggering harmonic feedback and sustain effects on command.
