Description
The Solo-II FR Apocalypse is Schecter’s answer for players who need locking tremolo stability without sacrificing tone or comfort. A swamp ash body with an arched top and Ultra Access set-neck joint keeps the upper frets within easy reach, while the black 1-ply binding and Satin Black hardware give the Red Reign finish a bit of contrast without stealing the spotlight.
The neck is a Maple/Padauk multi-ply build reinforced with carbon fiber rods for extra stiffness, shaped into a Thin ‘C’ profile that’s fast under the hand. An ebony fretboard carries 22 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets across a 12″-16″ compound radius, so chords stay comfortable low on the neck while bends and solos up top feel effortless. Roman numeral inlays and glow-in-the-dark side dots keep you oriented on a dark stage, and Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners paired with a Floyd Rose 1500 Series nut and bridge mean you can dive bomb all night and come back in tune.
Tone comes from a matched set of Schecter USA Apocalypse-VI humbuckers, wired to Volume/Volume controls, a push-pull tone knob for coil-split options, and a 3-way switch — enough flexibility to go from thick rhythm tones to cutting leads. Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings (.010-.046) come installed from the factory.
