The Schecter 1500-SHC Reaper-6 wears its Satin Charcoal Burst finish like armor, and it’s built to back up that attitude on stage. A Swamp Ash body topped with figured Poplar Burl gives it both a lively, resonant voice and a look that punches well above its price point.
Bolted to that body is a deep-set, reinforced 5-ply Maple/Walnut neck in an Ultra-Thin C profile, capped with an Ebony fretboard for smooth, fast fretting. Schecter didn’t stop at a slim neck carve — the body itself is heavily contoured and paired with an Ultra-Access Neck Carve, so upper-fret runs and marathon sets stay comfortable rather than a wrestling match.
Plug in and the Schecter Decimator pickups take over: high-output humbuckers designed to slice through a dense mix without losing their touch-sensitivity, equally happy driving a wall of gain or cleaning up for more textured playing. Hardware backs up the tone with reliable tuning stability — depending on configuration, either a Schecter Custom Hardtail bridge or a Floyd Rose 1500 — along with Schecter tuners finished in a contrasting Black and Chrome combo that adds a bit of extra edge to the look.
