Description
The Hellraiser Hybrid C-1 FR S takes Schecter’s staple metal machine and swaps in a Sustainiac unit at the neck, giving you controllable, feedback-free sustain alongside a genuinely aggressive EMG 57 in the bridge. Flip the 2-way on-off switch and dial through Fundamental, Mix, and Harmonic modes via the 3-way Sustainiac selector to hold notes and chords for as long as you want, or shut it off and play the C-1 as a straight-up rock machine.
Underneath the quilted maple top and carbon fiber multi-ply binding sits a mahogany body carved with an arched top and a set-neck joint built for Ultra Access to the upper frets. The 3-piece maple neck wears an Ultra Thin ‘C’ profile, a 12″-16″ compound radius ebony fretboard, and 24 X-Jumbo frets, so bends and sweeps stay fast from the first fret to the last. Mother of pearl offset dot inlays and a Gothic cross at the 12th fret mark the board, backed up by glow-in-the-dark side dots for playing in the dark.
A Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge and matching locking nut handle the dive-bombs and pitch tricks without knocking the guitar out of tune, while Grover tuners keep things stable at the headstock. Black chrome hardware ties into the Trans Black Burst finish for a look as dark as the tone.
