Description
The Demon-6 is Schecter’s answer for players who live in drop tunings and downpicked riffs. It starts with a solid basswood body in Schecter’s signature C shape, finished in a satin Aged Black that feels worn-in right out of the box and won’t show fingerprints under stage lights.
- Solid basswood body with satin finish
- 25.5″ scale maple neck, 24 frets, 14″ radius wenge fingerboard with gothic cross inlays
- Schecter Diamond Active HB-1055 humbuckers with 3-way selector
- Tune-o-matic bridge, thru-body stringing, Schecter tuners
The wenge fingerboard is a departure from the usual rosewood or maple – it’s dense, fast under the fingers, and holds up well to aggressive bending. Combined with the flat 14″ radius and 24 accessible frets, it’s built for shredding without the fingerboard fighting back. Those gothic cross inlays aren’t just for looks either; they mark your position at a glance when you’re deep in a low-light set.
Under the hood, the active Diamond HB-1055 humbuckers are voiced specifically for high-gain metal and hard rock tones – tight bottom end, clear articulation on fast passages, and enough output to push your amp into saturation without extra pedals. The 3-way selector lets you switch between pickups for rhythm chug or lead cut. Thru-body stringing at the tune-o-matic bridge adds sustain and tuning stability, which matters when you’re tuned down and hitting it hard.
This is a guitar built around one job: heavy playing done right. Case sold separately.
