Its 26.5″ scale and basswood body deliver the tight, aggressive tone metal and drop-tuned rock demand, while the bolt-on maple neck with a Thin ‘C’ profile keeps things comfortable in your hand from open position all the way up the fretboard.
24 extra jumbo frets and a 16″ fretboard radius make bends and fast runs feel effortless, and the rosewood board with 4mm dot inlays gives it a clean, no-nonsense look. A pair of Schecter Diamond Plus pickups handle the tonal duties, offering plenty of output for high-gain riffing while still cleaning up when you back off the volume knob. The Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-through-body construction adds sustain and stability, especially useful when you’re running heavier gauge strings across seven strings.
Other details include a graphite nut, 2-way adjustable truss rod, chrome hardware, and simple volume/tone/3-way switch controls — everything set up to just get out of your way and let you play.
This package includes a Coffin Cases G185R hard case, styled after, well, a coffin, with a diamond-tucked red velvet interior built to cradle your guitar. Under the theatrical shape is genuinely tough multi-ply wood construction, a shock-absorbing velvet-lined body, a reinforced neck compartment for accessories, and angled body support for Les Paul-style guitars. The exterior is wrapped in road-resistant black PVC with black steel hardware and stitching, and it’s backed by a one-year warranty.
