The Custom 24 has always been PRS’s calling card, and this Floyd Rose version gives it a whole new set of tricks. Locked in by the Floyd Rose 1000 Series Tremolo with locking nut, you can throw the bar around, dive bomb, and chase harmonics all night while staying rock-solid in pitch. It’s the kind of hardware that opens up phrasing you simply can’t get from a fixed bridge.
Under the hood, the pairing of 85/15 “S” pickups with a Pattern Thin maple neck keeps everything articulate. These pickups are voiced for clarity, holding onto low-end punch and high-end sparkle even when you’re digging in hard, so the tone never turns to mush during aggressive playing. The 24-fret, 25″ scale neck feels fast and comfortable, whether you’re sweeping across the fretboard or leaning into a big bend.
The beveled maple top with a flame maple veneer sits over a mahogany back, giving the body some visual depth to go with its resonance, and it’s finished here in a rich Charcoal Cherry Burst. An ebony fretboard with PRS’s signature bird inlays rounds out the look, while nickel hardware and PRS-designed tuners keep things running smoothly.
