Description
The JS22 Dinky Arch Top proves you don’t need to spend a fortune to get real Jackson attitude. Built around an arched basswood body finished in satin black, it pairs classic Dinky styling with upgraded touches usually reserved for pricier instruments – bound fingerboard and headstock, black hardware, and jumbo frets that make bending and vibrato feel effortless.
The bolt-on maple speed neck is graphite-reinforced for stability and topped with a compound-radius (12″-16″) rosewood fingerboard, so chords feel comfortable low on the neck while solos up top stay slinky and fast. Pearloid sharkfin inlays mark your way across 24 jumbo frets, and the 25.5″ scale length keeps string tension familiar for players coming from other bolt-neck electrics.
Tone comes from a pair of Jackson High Output humbucking pickups with ceramic magnets, wired to master volume and tone controls with a 3-way blade switch for bridge, combined, or neck voicing – everything from tight metal rhythm to lead tones with sustain to spare. A synchronized 2-point fulcrum tremolo lets you dive and flutter without losing tuning stability, backed by Jackson’s sealed die-cast tuners.
