Description
The JS12 Dinky proves you don’t need a big budget to get real Jackson tone and playability. Built on a basswood body finished in gloss polyurethane, it pairs comfortable ergonomics with the aggressive looks the Dinky shape is known for.
The bolt-on maple speed neck is reinforced with graphite for added stability and features a satin finish that lets your hand glide effortlessly. A 12″ radius rosewood fingerboard, bound in white with pearloid dot inlays, hosts 24 jumbo frets — plenty of room for wide bends and fast lead runs, right up to the pointed 6-in-line headstock.
Tone comes from a pair of Jackson High Output humbucking pickups with ceramic magnets, voiced to push into rich overdrive and long sustain whether you’re chugging rhythms or soaring through solos. A 3-position blade switch lets you move between bridge, combined, and neck pickup settings, and the HH configuration keeps things simple and punchy.
A 2-point fulcrum tremolo bridge gives you pitch dives and vibrato without sacrificing tuning stability, backed by Jackson sealed die-cast tuning machines for reliable tuning retention. Chrome hardware and a Jackson neck plate round out the build.
