The JS1X Minion takes Jackson’s iconic Dinky shape and shrinks it to a 22.5″ scale, making it a fast, comfortable option for players who want a smaller-format guitar without sacrificing tone or feel. The poplar body pairs with a bolt-on maple neck that’s reinforced with graphite rods and finished in satin for quick, low-friction moves up and down the neck.
The 12″ radius amaranth fingerboard hosts 24 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays, giving you plenty of room to roam whether you’re chording or shredding leads. Jackson angled the headstock to keep string tension even across all six strings, which helps reduce hand fatigue during long sessions, and sculpted the neck heel so upper-fret access stays smooth and unobstructed.
Tone comes from a pair of Jackson high-output humbuckers wired to a 3-way blade switch, covering bridge, combined, and neck positions with simple volume and tone controls to shape your sound. A string-through-body hardtail bridge with block saddles delivers solid sustain and tuning stability, while black hardware throughout keeps the aesthetic sleek and cohesive.
