Description
The G6659TFM brings the Broadkaster name to a scaled-down, single-cutaway body that’s easier to wield than its full-size siblings without giving up an ounce of attitude. Gretsch shrank the footprint slightly for better comfort against the body and tighter feedback resistance at stage volume, then wrapped it in tiger-flame maple with a matching flamed headstock for a look that’s as loud as the tone.
Inside, a chambered spruce center block does the heavy lifting – it opens up the resonance so the guitar sings more naturally acoustically while keeping weight off your shoulder during long sets. Loaded into that body are two U.S.-made Full’Tron pickups, Gretsch’s take on classic chime and shimmer with an added push in the midrange, giving you enough grit to punch through when you dig in with overdrive or fuzz.
