Description
The G5260 Electromatic Jet Baritone takes the familiar Jet formula and stretches it into subsonic territory. With a 29 3/4″ scale length, this baritone handles down-tuned riffing without going slack or floppy, giving you real string tension even in the lowest registers.
Powering the tone are dual Gretsch mini humbucking pickups, chosen specifically for their ability to reproduce deep low end while staying tight and defined — not muddy. Whether you’re playing clean or pushing into heavy gain, notes stay articulate with a piano-like snap underneath the low-frequency weight. A three-position toggle switches between pickups, and master volume/tone knobs keep the control layout simple and fast to use on stage.
Under the hood, a bolt-on maple neck carries a laurel fingerboard with a comfortable 12″ radius and 22 medium jumbo frets — smooth for chording, fast for leads. The V-Stoptail setup pairs with an anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge for solid intonation and sustain.
Visual details round out the package with pearloid Big Block inlays, white binding with purfling, and chrome hardware, all finished in Imperial Stain — classic Gretsch style with a bit of extra low-end muscle.
