Description
The G2622T Streamliner Center Block takes the hollow-body formula Gretsch is famous for and reinforces it for louder stages. A laminated maple body wraps around a lightweight spruce center block that runs the full length, tightening up the low end and keeping howling feedback out of the mix even when you push the volume.
- Double-cutaway semi-hollow maple body with gloss finish and enlarged F-holes for extra acoustic bloom
- Dual Broad’Tron BT-2S humbucking pickups—high-output design with tighter bass, clear top end, and a midrange that growls when you dig in
- Nato neck, thin “U”-shaped profile, white binding, and a 12″ radius laurel fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid Big Block inlays
- Traditional Gretsch control layout: individual neck/bridge volumes, master volume, master tone, and three-way pickup selector
- Bigsby-licensed B70 vibrato tailpiece for pitch-bending shimmer, paired with a pinned Adjusto-Matic bridge and synthetic bone nut for solid tuning stability
- Nickel hardware, die-cast tuners, aged white binding with upgraded purfling, and a three-ply black pickguard for classic visual flair
Whether you’re chording through jazz changes or riffing on a rock stage, the thin neck profile and stable bridge setup keep intonation accurate while the center-block construction lets you crank up without unwanted resonance. Finished in Riviera Blue. Case sold separately.
