The Fullerton Deluxe Legacy pulls together some of the most requested combinations from G&L’s Build To Order menu, giving players easy access to specs that once required a custom order. It’s a guitar built for anyone chasing genuine Alnico single-coil character, but with the playability and detailing of a modern instrument.
At its core, the Legacy borrows design cues from Leo Fender’s own S-500 and Comanche models, pairing three Alnico V pickups with G&L’s P.T.B. (Passive Treble and Bass) control system. Rather than a single tone knob rolling off highs, the P.T.B. circuit gives you independent treble and bass cut controls, letting you dial in far more nuanced tonal shaping than a standard setup allows.
Necks wear a G&L Clear Tint Satin finish that shows off the wood grain while keeping a smooth, fast feel under the hand. The Deluxe Legacy is offered in three body/hardware combinations:
- Jet Black over Alder, 3-ply parchment pickguard, maple or Caribbean rosewood fingerboard
- Old School Tobacco over Swamp Ash, 3-ply parchment pickguard, maple or Caribbean rosewood fingerboard

Every Fullerton Deluxe Legacy is built in G&L’s original Fullerton, California facility on Fender Avenue — the same site where Leo Fender founded the company in 1980, often called the Birthplace of Bolt-on construction.
