The Fullerton Deluxe ASAT Classic takes Leo Fender’s definitive single-cutaway bolt-on design and dresses it up with some of the most requested combinations from G&L’s Option Order menu. Butterscotch Blonde and Vintage Natural sit atop swamp ash bodies under a transparent finish that lets the wood grain do the talking, while Jet Black, 3-Tone Sunburst, Lake Placid Blue, Fullerton Red, and Matcha Green ride on alder bodies for a rounder, punchier low end. Every version gets a rear body contour for comfortable playing, a pickguard chosen to complement its finish, and a Clear Tint Satin neck that keeps things looking sharp from headstock to heel.

At the heart of the ASAT Classic is a boxed-steel bridge fitted with individual brass saddles for precise intonation, paired with a single-coil MFD (Magnetic Field Design) bridge pickup engineered by Leo Fender himself. It cuts through with sharp attack and layered harmonic detail. Roll over to the neck MFD single-coil and the tone opens up into warm, rounded territory perfect for clean jazz voicings or thick, snarling blues. Blend both together and you land somewhere entirely new — a genuinely versatile electric that rewards players who like to explore.
Every G&L USA instrument, including this one, is still built in the original G&L facility on Fender Avenue in Fullerton, California — the same birthplace of the bolt-on neck that Leo Fender established in 1980.
