Description
This Standard Stratocaster HSS Plus Top takes the familiar Strat formula and adds a bit of muscle and visual punch. The alder body wears a figured flame maple top finished in Aged Cherry Burst, giving it a warmer, more upscale look than a typical Standard model, while the HSS pickup configuration swaps in a humbucking bridge pickup alongside the classic single-coil neck and middle units. That means you get the snap and chime Strats are known for, plus a thicker, higher-output voice when you need to push into rock or lead territory.
The maple neck has a Modern “C” profile with a 9.5″ radius maple fingerboard, 21 medium jumbo frets, and a 1.650″ synthetic bone nut — comfortable under the hand whether you’re working through chords or bending strings up high. A five-way blade switch and the special HSS wiring (with a coil-split option at position 2) open up more tonal ground than a standard three-pickup layout, all controlled through master volume and two tone knobs.
Hardware stays true to Strat tradition: a 6-saddle vintage-style synchronized tremolo, sealed cast tuning machines, and chrome/nickel-plated steel finish throughout. A 3-ply parchment pickguard, white plastic knobs, and parchment switch tip tie the retro-meets-modern look together. It ships strung with Fender USA Bullets (.009-.042) and comes packed in a Fender ABS molded case for reliable protection on the road or in storage.
