Description
The Standard Stratocaster HSS takes the familiar Fender formula and adds some muscle at the bridge. Swapping in a humbucker alongside two single-coils gives you the sparkle Strats are known for, plus a thicker, more aggressive voice when you need to cut through a mix. It’s built on an alder body with a durable polyester finish, paired with a Modern “C”-shaped neck and a 9.5″ radius rosewood fingerboard that keeps chords comfortable and bends smooth across 21 medium jumbo frets.
- HSS pickup layout: Standard Humbucking (bridge), Standard Single-Coil Strat (middle and neck)
- 5-position blade switching, including the classic split-coil position for humbucker/middle combinations
- Master Volume with two Tone controls for neck and middle pickups
- 6-saddle vintage-style synchronized tremolo with a high-mass bridge block for improved sustain and tuning stability
- Shielded body cavities to cut down on unwanted noise
- Synthetic bone nut, 1.650″ width, 4-bolt neck plate, and standard cast/sealed tuning machines
- Parchment pickguard, control knobs, and switch tips for a warm, vintage-tinged look against the black finish
- ’70s-style Fender transition logo on the headstock
- Strung with Fender USA Bullets (.009-.042)
Whether you’re chasing glassy in-between tones or want a bridge pickup with real punch for rock and blues, this Stratocaster covers the range without straying from the feel that makes the shape a staple on every stage.
