Description
This is a demo unit of the Squier Affinity Telecaster, finished in the timeless Butterscotch Blonde that’s been synonymous with the Tele shape since day one. It’s built to give players an honest, no-frills taste of what made this design a workhorse for decades, without the premium price tag.
The alder body wears a polyurethane finish under that classic butterscotch hue, paired with a maple neck cut in a comfortable “C” shape. With 21 medium jumbo frets, dot inlays, and a 9.5″ radius fretboard, it’s set up for easy chording and quick lead runs alike. Scale length sits at the standard 25.5″, with a 1.6″ nut width for familiar spacing.
Tone comes from a pair of single-coils — a Tele bridge pickup for that cutting snap and a vintage-style neck pickup for warmer, rounder textures. A 3-way blade switch lets you flip between bridge only, both together, or neck only, controlled by simple master volume and tone knobs.
Hardware is chrome throughout, including a 6-saddle top-load bridge for solid intonation and easy stringing, a synthetic bone nut, and a top hat-style switch tip. Black plastic parts and a black silkscreen logo keep the look clean and vintage-inspired.
