Description
The Jazzmaster shape has always attracted players who want something a little off the beaten path, and Fender’s Player Series version keeps that spirit alive without straying from what makes the platform work. Finished in Polar White over an alder body, this guitar pairs a comfortable offset silhouette with genuinely useful tone shaping.
Two Player Series Alnico 2 humbucking pickups sit in the bridge and neck positions, giving you a thicker, warmer output than a traditional single-coil Jazzmaster while retaining plenty of clarity. A simple master volume and master tone control the sound, and the 3-position toggle switch lets you flip between bridge alone, both pickups together, or neck alone—no fuss, just tone options that make sense.
The maple neck wears a Modern “C” profile with a Pau Ferro fingerboard, 9.5″ radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets, making it feel just as at home fingerpicking as it does barre-chording through a set. A synthetic bone nut and standard truss rod keep setup straightforward, and the 6-saddle vintage-style bridge paired with a floating tremolo tailpiece gives you smooth, musical vibrato without sacrificing tuning stability.
