Tonally, the trio of Vintage Noiseless pickups delivers classic single-coil sparkle without the 60-cycle hum that plagues traditional Strat pickups. Clapton’s active electronics push things further: a TBX tone circuit widens your tonal palette from dark and warm to bright and cutting, while an active mid-boost stage adds up to 25dB of midrange push when you need the pickups to growl or cut through a mix. The bridge is a blocked American Vintage synchronized tremolo, giving you rock-solid tuning stability with the option to still use the arm for subtle pitch effects.
