Underneath the Vintage Blonde finish sits an ash body, prized by Fender for generations for its chiming highs, articulate midrange, and solid low-end punch. The grain shows through nicely under the light-colored gloss polyester finish.
Three Vintage Noiseless single-coil pickups deliver the snap and sparkle Strat players expect, minus the 60-cycle hum that usually comes with single coils. A push/push mini-switch tucked between the tone controls sneaks the bridge pickup into positions four and five on the 5-way blade selector, opening up fuller, more layered tones that a standard Strat wiring can’t reach.
