Dual American Vintage ’65 single-coil Jazzmaster pickups anchor the tone, wired through the model’s signature dual-circuit setup: a lead circuit with volume and tone, plus a separate rhythm circuit for a darker, rolled-off voice, switchable via the classic slide switch and 3-position toggle. It’s a wiring scheme unlike any other Fender, and it’s part of what makes the Jazzmaster feel like its own instrument rather than just a Stratocaster variant.
