Description
Few instruments carry a signature look like this one. The Buddy Guy Polka Dot Stratocaster is Fender’s tribute to the bluesman’s iconic stage guitar, wrapped in a black polyester finish scattered with white polka dots that make it instantly recognizable from the back row.
Underneath the flash is a genuine working Strat. The alder body pairs with a one-piece maple neck cut in a soft “V” profile, giving your hand a rounded, vintage-style grip rather than a modern flat-back feel. A maple fingerboard with a 9.5″ radius and 21 medium jumbo frets keeps bends smooth and chords ringing clean, while the 25.5″ scale and 1.650″ nut width deliver the familiar Strat playing field.
Tone comes from three standard single-coil pickups with ceramic magnets, wired through Fender’s classic 5-position blade switch for everything from punchy bridge twang to warm, glassy in-between quack. A vintage-style synchronized tremolo and Fender/Gotoh vintage tuning machines round out the hardware, all finished in chrome and set against a 3-ply black pickguard.
