Description
The American Ultra Stratocaster HSS sits at the top of Fender’s American-made lineup, built for players who notice every detail in how a guitar feels under the hands. The neck carries a Modern D profile with Ultra rolled fingerboard edges, so the shoulders of the neck feel broken-in from the first chord. A compound-radius maple fingerboard flattens out from 10″ to 14″ as you move up, keeping open chords comfortable while letting high-register bends and solos stay in tune with themselves. The tapered neck heel clears the way to those upper frets without the usual heel-bump obstruction.
- Modern D neck profile with maple fingerboard and 22 medium-jumbo frets
- 10″-14″ compound-radius fingerboard for effortless soloing
- Ultra Noiseless Hot single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions
- Ultra Double Tap humbucking pickup in the bridge for added punch and coil-split versatility
- Advanced wiring gives access to a wide range of tonal combinations, all hum-free
- Sculpted rear body contours for extended comfort during long sessions
On the tone side, the HSS configuration covers a lot of ground: the Ultra Noiseless single-coils deliver classic Strat sparkle and quack without the 60-cycle hum that usually comes with it, while the Ultra Double Tap humbucker in the bridge adds weight and drive when you need to push into rock territory, with coil-splitting built into the wiring for extra flexibility. Finished in Arctic Pearl, this Stratocaster is built to be a genuine daily player — comfortable enough for hours on end, and versatile enough to handle whatever style you throw at it.
