Description
This is the Stratocaster reimagined for players who want more output without losing that unmistakable Fender character. The American Professional HH Shawbucker swaps the traditional single-coil setup for a pair of Tim Shaw-designed ShawBucker humbuckers, each voiced individually for its bridge or neck position. The result is thick, articulate tone with plenty of grit on tap, but with the clarity and touch-sensitivity that keeps it recognizably a Strat.
An alder body wears a gloss Sonic Gray finish, paired with a maple neck cut in Fender’s modern “Deep C” profile — a shape with more substance under the hand than a standard C, sitting comfortably between C and U territory. Narrow-tall frets over a 9.5″ radius rosewood fingerboard make bending and fretted-chord work up the neck feel effortless and stay in tune with itself. A treble-bleed circuit keeps your top end intact as you roll back the volume knob, so cleaning up your sound doesn’t mean losing sparkle.
Other refinements include a bone nut, a 2-point synchronized tremolo with a pop-in arm that locks in place and adjusts for tension, and the 5-way blade switch giving you everything from full humbucker output to split-coil single-coil-style tones.
This particular unit is a store demo — gently used, fully functional, and priced to reflect its light play history rather than any flaw in performance.
