Fender’s American Professional Stratocaster HH ShawBucker swaps the traditional single-coil trio for two ShawBucker humbuckers designed by pickup legend Tim Shaw, each voiced individually for its position on the alder body. The result is thicker, punchier output without losing the airiness and articulation Strats are known for.
Play feel gets serious attention here too. The modern “Deep C” neck profile splits the difference between a Modern C and a U-shape, giving your hand more to grab onto during chord work while still moving fast for lead runs. Narrow-tall frets make bending and fretting up the neck feel locked-in and precise, and a bone nut adds clarity and sustain right from the headstock.
A treble-bleed circuit keeps your top end intact as you roll back the volume knob—no more dull, muddy tone when you back off the gain. The pop-in tremolo arm stays exactly where you leave it, with adjustable tension so the whammy feel matches your style.
