Description
The Jaguar has always been the guitar for players who like a little mischief in their tone, and the American Professional series sharpens that edge without dulling its personality. This rosewood-board example, finished in classic 3-Color Sunburst over an alder body, pairs Fender’s heritage design with genuine upgrades built for working musicians.
At the heart of the tone are Michael Frank’s V-Mod single-coil Jaguar pickups, voiced specifically for their bridge and neck positions to deliver punchy midrange and vintage-informed grit. A four-way blade switch opens up series and parallel pickup combinations, while a 2-position slide switch flips the pickups in and out of phase for extra tonal variety. A treble-bleed circuit keeps your top end intact even as you roll back the volume knob.
Playability gets a serious boost from the Deep C-shaped maple neck, a profile that splits the difference between Modern C and U shapes for a substantial, natural feel in hand. Narrow-tall frets make bending and precise intonation easier up and down the 9.5-inch radius rosewood fingerboard, and a bone nut adds clarity and sustain.
The redesigned bridge features brass Mustang saddles and a screw-in tremolo arm for stability that holds up under aggressive playing, plus a tremolo lock button for extra control. Fender USA 250L strings come installed at the factory.
