Description
The Stratocaster needs no introduction — since 1954 it’s been the standard by which every other electric guitar gets measured. This American Professional Stratocaster HH ShawBucker takes that legacy and hands it a pair of humbuckers, opening the door to fatter, more aggressive tones while keeping the Strat’s signature playability intact. This particular unit was used as a shop demo and shows light handling wear, but plays and sounds exactly as a new one would.
Tim Shaw designed the two ShawBucker humbuckers here, each voiced differently for its position on the alder body — bridge and neck pickups deliver their own distinct character rather than a one-size-fits-all output. A treble-bleed circuit on the volume control means you can roll back the volume without losing top-end sparkle, so your tone stays present even at lower settings.
