Description
The MH1000HSQM sits at the top of ESP LTD’s 1000 Series lineup, built for guitarists who need tone, playability, and looks that hold up under professional demands. It pairs an M Series-inspired body shape with H Series design touches, resulting in a set-thru mahogany body topped with quilted maple and finished in a striking Violet Shadow Fade. A 3-piece maple neck runs into a Macassar ebony fingerboard carved with a Thin U contour, giving fast players a comfortable, low-profile grip across all 24 XJ frets.
Pickup duties fall to a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the neck and a Seymour Duncan Pegasus in the bridge, wired through a push-pull tone control for instant coil-splitting between full humbucker output and single-coil clarity. A Floyd Rose 1000SE bridge with stainless steel screws handles dive-bombs and pitch tricks with stability, while a locking nut keeps tuning locked in even under heavy whammy use. Grover tuners round out the hardware, all finished in black to match the guitar’s dark, moody aesthetic.
