Description
Southpaw players don’t need to compromise on performance, and this Charvel Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 HH LH proves it. Built specifically for left-handed guitarists, it delivers the same high-velocity playability and aggressive tone that made the So-Cal line a staple for rock and metal players.
- Alder body finished in gloss black for a clean, classic look
- 2-piece maple neck with graphite reinforcement rods keeps things stable through temperature swings and heavy touring
- Speed neck profile paired with a 12″-16″ compound radius maple fingerboard makes chords feel comfortable low on the neck and bends effortless up high
- 22 jumbo frets and black dot inlays for a fast, familiar feel
- Hand-rubbed urethane gel neck finish with a heel-mounted thumbwheel truss rod adjustment for quick tweaks
Tone comes from a proven Seymour Duncan pairing: the high-output TB-6 Distortion in the bridge for cutting leads and tight rhythm chug, and the fatter, warmer SH-6N Distortion in the neck for smooth solos. A push/pull coil split on the volume knob opens up single-coil-style tones alongside the full humbucker voicings, giving you a wider palette than the pickup configuration might suggest.
The Floyd Rose FRT-02000 double-locking recessed tremolo and matching locking nut let you dive bomb and whammy without losing tuning stability, backed by Charvel-branded die-cast tuners. A 1-ply black pickguard and black dome knobs round out the hardware, while the standard Stratocaster-style headstock and 4-bolt Charvel neck plate keep things familiar for players moving up from other bolt-on guitars. Comes strung with NPS .009-.042 strings, ready to plug in and play.
