Description
The G2655T Streamliner Center Block Jr. gives you that unmistakable Gretsch growl in a smaller, easier-to-handle double-cutaway body finished in a striking Fairlane Blue gloss. Laminated maple construction with enlarged F-holes delivers plenty of acoustic breath, while a lightweight spruce center block runs through the body to tame feedback and keep things tight when you push the volume on a loud stage.
Powering the sound are two Broad’Tron BT-2S humbucking pickups, purpose-built for the Streamliner line to add extra output along with a snappier low end, clear top end, and a midrange with some real bite. Controls stick to the traditional Gretsch layout — independent volume for each pickup, a master tone and master volume, and a three-way switch — so dialing in your voice is quick and intuitive. A Bigsby-licensed B50 vibrato tailpiece adds pitch shimmer and expressive dive-bombs, backed by an anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge and synthetic bone nut for solid tuning stability.
