Description
Left-handed players don’t often get this much flexibility from a semi-hollow, but the G2622LH Streamliner Center Block flips the script on the classic Gretsch formula. Its laminated maple body carries a spruce center block down the middle, which reinforces the top and keeps howling feedback in check even when you’re pushing volume on a rowdy stage. That’s paired with a set of Broad’Tron BT-2S humbuckers, voiced specifically for this collection to deliver tighter low end, articulate highs, and a midrange with real bite—more rock and roll snarl than a typical vintage-style Filter’Tron tone.
The double-cutaway body is finished in Single Barrel Stain over arched laminated maple, dressed up with aged white binding, upgraded purfling, a three-ply black pickguard, and enlarged F-holes for extra acoustic bloom. Nickel hardware and vintage-style black control knobs round out the classic Gretsch look.
Up the neck, a nato neck in a thin “U” profile meets a 12″ radius laurel fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid Big Block inlays—comfortable whether you’re stacking chords or tearing through leads. A synthetic bone nut, anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge, and Gretsch V-Stoptail tailpiece keep tuning stable through aggressive playing.
Controls stay familiar and functional: independent volume knobs for neck and bridge pickups, a master volume, master tone, and three-way pickup switching for quick tonal changes mid-song.
