Underneath that eye-catching Silver Sparkle gloss finish sits a mahogany body topped with laminated maple, chambered for a lighter feel and a bigger, more resonant voice u2014 you get punchy midrange plus an airy top end that solid-body Jets don’t usually offer.
Powering the tone is a pair of Gretsch Broad’Tron BT65 humbuckers, designed by Tim Shaw to track the guitar’s natural character closely. Expect deep lows, present mids, and a high end that stays clear even when you push the gain u2014 this pickup set is equally at home cranked into a dirty amp or cleaned up for shimmering arpeggios, and the 3-way toggle plus dual volumes and master tone give you fast access to both extremes.
The Players Edition spec sheet adds real playability upgrades: a mahogany neck in a Standard “U” profile, 12″ radius rosewood board with 22 medium jumbo frets, and Gotoh locking tuners for rock-solid tuning stability. A V-Stoptail paired with the Anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge keeps sustain tight and intonation precise.
