Description
Born out of the high-performance guitar culture of Southern California, the Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas 1 HH is built to deliver aggressive tone and effortless speed in equal measure. Finished in a striking Snow White gloss polyurethane over an alder body, this guitar looks as fast as it plays.
Under the hood, a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker at the bridge pairs with a Seymour Duncan ’59 Zebra humbucker at the neck, both direct-mounted for maximum resonance transfer and punch. A push/pull coil-split on the volume knob unlocks single-coil-style tones, while the No-Load tone control steps out of the circuit entirely at its highest setting, opening up the pickups’ full, unfiltered voice. The three-position blade switch handles pickup selection cleanly, with split-coil options mirroring the standard configuration for added tonal range. A Floyd Rose double-locking recessed tremolo with matching locking nut keeps tuning rock-solid through dive bombs and wide pitch swings.
The two-piece maple neck is reinforced with graphite rods for long-term stability and carved into Charvel’s Speed Neck profile – slim, fast, and finished with rolled fingerboard edges that feel worn-in right out of the box. Twenty-two jumbo frets sit atop a 12
