Description
This is a lightly-played floor model of Jackson’s X Series King V, the KVXMG, finished in eye-catching Snow White. It’s been on the showroom wall, not the road, so wear is essentially nonexistent—yet it comes with a real discount attached. All original boxing and materials are included.
Built around the aggressive King V silhouette, this guitar pairs a basswood body with a maple neck that runs clean through the body for maximum sustain and resonance. The compound-radius rosewood fretboard (12″ to 16″) is the secret weapon here: it starts rounder near the nut for comfortable chord work, then flattens out toward the upper frets so you can dig into bends without choking out. Shark-fin pearloid inlays mark the 24 jumbo frets, keeping things fast and visually on-brand for Jackson.
Tone comes from an active EMG 81/85 humbucker pairing—85 in the neck for warm, glassy lead work, 81 in the bridge for tight, aggressive low end and cutting highs. A simple 3-way blade switch lets you flip between bridge, combined, and neck positions. A Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo handles pitch dives and dive-bombs while keeping tuning stability in check, and sealed die-cast tuners round out the hardware.
