Description
The SH-14 Custom 5 grew out of requests from Seymour Duncan’s own user community, who wanted the aggressive voicing of the SH-5 Custom and SH-11 Custom but with the smoother, more musical top end of an Alnico 5 magnet instead of ceramic or Alnico 2. The result is a bridge pickup that still hits hard but trades some of that harder-edged distortion for a rounder, more vintage-leaning tone.
