Description
The Schecter C-1 Apocalypse (Item 1300) is built for players who live in drop tunings and downpicked chaos. Its lightweight swamp ash body wears a stained satin Rusty Grey finish with an arched top and black 1-ply binding, giving it that weathered, post-apocalyptic look while keeping the guitar comfortable for long sets.
The set-neck construction with Ultra Access joint lets you reach the upper frets without a fight, while the maple/padauk multi-ply neck with carbon fiber reinforcement rods stays stable under aggressive playing. A thin ‘C’ neck shape and 12"-16" compound radius ebony fretboard make fast riffing and wide bends feel effortless, and the 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets hold up to heavy pick attack for the long haul.
Mother of pearl triangle inlays at the 12th and 24th frets sit alongside glow-in-the-dark side dots, so you can keep your bearings on a dark stage. Up top, Schecter locking tuners and a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut keep tuning rock-solid, while the Hipshot Hardtail bridge with string-thru-body design adds sustain and precision.
Powering the tone are dual Schecter USA Apocalypse-VI pickups, wired to a Volume/Volume/push-pull Tone/3-way switch setup with satin black hardware and Hipshot O-Ring knobs for a clean, purposeful control layout.
